We are pleased to announce that Vogt Power International Inc. has become a participant in a research initiative. PPL Corporation, in collaboration with Vogt Power and other esteemed partners, has secured a $72 million research grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. The project focuses on developing a cutting-edge carbon capture system at PPL subsidiaries LG&E and KU’s Cane Run 7 Generating Station. Vogt Power, along with Siemens Energy, will contribute technical support. This 20MW research system aims to capture 240 tons of CO2 daily, aligning with PPL’s commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. We’re excited to contribute technical expertise and collaborate on advancing clean energy solutions.
