BTA Employees Team Up for the Spartanburg Area’s United Way Overflow Thanksgiving Drive

Boiler Tube Company of America employees participated in the United Way of the Piedmont’s Overflow Thanksgiving Drive for the second year in a row. Their generosity and commitment to giving back to their community resulted in collecting 166 bags of food which directly affects 166 families in need in the Spartanburg area. As was the case last year, it was the largest donation out of all the businesses participating in this Thanksgiving Drive!

“I want to thank everyone at Boiler Tube Company of America for recognizing a need in our community and giving back to through your charitable giving”, states John Koslosky, President, BTA. “It is an honor to work with these caring people and witness their working together to make a difference to families during the holiday season!”

Eighteen percent of residents in Spartanburg County live in poverty. Through Overflow Thanksgiving, 2,670 families in this community will receive Thanksgiving Day meals, helping to make the holiday special for these families that need it most.

“When companies like Boiler Tube participate in projects like Overflow Thanksgiving, it helps our entire community,” commented Paige Stephenson, United Way of the Piedmont President & CEO. “By joining with United Way of the Piedmont, companies are able to have a direct and greater impact on families in need.”
